From feasibility study to
SICA's primary objective is to provide customers with turnkey solutions that fully meet their technical requirements, while respecting the agreed delivery times.
Achieving this goal requires a major investment in human resources, the company's real competitive factor. SICA's specialist technicians accompany and follow the customer all the way: from the technical and economic feasibility analysis phase to design, from development to installation, from testing to subsequent after-sales service. This support is aimed at understanding the customer's requirements from the embryonic stage and then creating a machine or system whose functions respond perfectly to the specific needs presented.
In order to achieve these results, SICA makes the best possible use of the individual skills of its employees, increasing them with continuous training and constant updates. The quality system adopted also guarantees the conformity of all production processes and the entire company structure through periodic audits by the certification bodies. All this makes SICA a completely autonomous structure capable of satisfying the customer thanks to the synergic work of all departments, and of producing with extreme care ergonomic products, easy to maintain and with a pleasant design.
OVER 27 YEARS OF HISTORY
SICA IN TIME
Founded in April 1993, SICA initially only designed the electrical part, i.e. electrical panels, PLCs and so on within the machine tool fittings.
Acknowledging that customers are more inclined to entrust the electrical and mechanical parts of projects to a single integrator, SICA began to handle mechanical design in-house.
At a time when the integration of robots was still the prerogative of professionals strictly dedicated to this task, SICA successfully purchased, configured, programmed and installed its first anthropomorphic robot, used for loading and unloading an operating machine, at a prestigious end customer.
SICA built two clamp-brake assembly lines with a cycle time of 6.5 seconds, capable of processing 11 different types of clamps with automatic type-changing systems that reduced the 40-45 minutes previously needed for manual retooling to the 2-3 minutes required by automation.
SICA moved its production activities to its current factory, a space that had become necessary as a result of the company's continuous growth in terms of the number and size of its orders and the resources used to complete them.
The new spacious and bright offices are completed and occupied, distributed over 3 floors for a total of 600m2, plus a space in the basement for training activities. A more comfortable location to guarantee the ever-increasing number of resources adequate working and meeting spaces.
After having come through an unprecedented global emergency with strength and determination, SICA has chosen to use an institutional rebranding operation to communicate forcefully, including graphically, the impetus and enthusiasm with which it is preparing to face the global restart, adding new resources that will enable it to continue to expand the company's range of action within the market.
